In the name of God Amen the tenth day of February in the yeare of our Lord God according to the computation of the Church of England one thousand seaven hundred and twentie. I Phillipp Wm Morgan of the parrish of Goytrey in the Countie of Monmouth and Diocess of Landaffe carpenter being weak in body but of sound & perfect memory praise be given to Almighty God doe make & ordayne this my last Will & Testamt in manner & forme following, that is to say,

First and principally I commend my soule into the hands of Almighty God hopeing through the merits of my saviour Jesus Christ to have free pardon & forgiveness of all my sins. And my body I committ to the earth to be decently buried at the discretion of my executors hereafter named, and as touching my personall estate as it hath pleased God to bestow upon me I dispose thereof as foll:

Item I give and bequeath unto Mary the wife of William Gwyllym of Goytrey the sume of three pounds to be payd in the space of six months next after my decease and likewise one bedstead one cubboord one small cubboord table one coffer one chayer fower pewter platters one pewter gunn & one pewter candlestick

Item I give and bequeath unto Margarett ye daughter of Wm Gwyllym afforesd the sume of one pound to be payd in the space of one yeare next after my decease upon condition yt the sayd William Gwyllym or Mary his wife shall give a discharge to my executors for ye sd money.

Item I give and bequeath unto Anne the daughter of William Gwyllym afforesd the sume of tenn shillings to be payd in the time above limitted and upon the same condition as before expressed

Item I give and bequeath unto John ye sone of William Gwyllym one yeaue & lamb and likewise one table & frame

Item I give and bequeath unto William Morgan my sone the sume of two shillings and six pence

Item I give and bequeath unto William Morgan my nephew my best wearing apparell

Item All the rest and residue of my personall estate goods & chattells whatsoever and all money in ye hands of all persons oweing to me I doe give & bequeath unto my loveing wife Joan and my daughter Rachell share & share like who I nominate and appointe joynt executors of this my last Will & Testamt disanulling & makeing voyd all former Wills heretofore made.
