Mr S W Griffiths, Nantyderry.
The death has occurred at the Garage, Nantyderry, of Mr Stafford William Griffiths, after a long illness.
Mr Griffiths was well known in the haulage and contracting business in the district.
Internment took place in Kemeys Commander Church where the Rev. T Trevor Davies officiated and Mr John Hunter was organist, owing to the illness of Miss Messenger.
Mourners: Mrs Griffiths, widow; Reg and Betty, son and daughter-in-law; Ron, son; Mr & Mrs E Spencer; Mr & Mrs Kate Sansom; Reg and Kate Powell; Ernie and Bill Griffiths; Mabel and Cyril Powell; Albert Smith; R Smith; Mr & Mrs Cound, Weston Super Mare were unable to attend due to illness.
