John Jenkins – Goytre  Probate 18th June

In the name of God Amen. I, John Jenkins of the parish of Goytrey in the County of Monmouth, farmer, being sick in body but of sound and disposing mind, memory and understanding, praised be to God for the same, do make this my last will and testament in manner and form following:

I give, devise and bequeath unto my beloved wife Elizabeth Jenkins all my money, securities for money, goods, chattles and effects of what nature or kindsoever and wheresoever the same may be at the time of my death, for and during the term of her widowhood.

And I do nominate, constitute and appoint my said wife executrix of this my last will and testament, hereby revoking and making void all and every other will or wills by me at any time heretofore made and do declare this only to be my last will and testament.

In witness whereof, I the said John Jenkins have hereunto set my hand and seal this 27th day of May in the year of our Lord 1815.
