Rachel Thomas – Goytre

This is the last will and testament of me, Rachel Thomas of the parish of Goytre in the county of Monmouth, spinster.

I give and bequeath all my personal estate, effects and property of what nature or kind soever and wheresoever and of which I may happen to die, posses interested in or in any wise entitled to, subject to the payment of my just debts and funeral and testimony expenses unto and to the use of my niece Rachel Anthony now residing in the service of Ferdinand Hanbury Williams esquire of Coldbrook Park, her executors, administrators and assigns absolutely. And I hereby appoint the said Rachel Anthony sole executrix of this my will.

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty second day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty.
